How to Reach Kashmir?

• By Air: Srinagar International Airport is well-connected to major cities in India such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Kolkata.
• By Road: Srinagar is accessible via road from neighbouring cities like Jammu, which is connected to major cities by road and rail.
• By Rail: The nearest railway station is Jammu Tawi. Jammu is well-connected to major cities in India. From Jammu, you can hire a taxi or board a bus to reach Srinagar.

Note: As of December 2023, there are no trains connecting Jammu and Srinagar because of ongoing construction on the railway track. However, the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project is expected to be completed by January 2024. Once the project is complete, a Vande Bharat metro train will operate between the two cities.

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

• Arrive at Srinagar Airport and transfer to a luxurious houseboat on Dal Lake.
